The 2011 Spondon Village Festival got off to a great start with an evening of live music at SpondonFest.
Running over two days this year, the Spondon Village Festival hosted SpondonFest on the Saturday evening (10th) with the main Carnival Day following the next day.
Hundreds turned out to watch 10 live bands take to the Festival stage. The atmosphere throughout the evening was fantastic, and barring an out-of-the-blue heavy downpour early in the evening, the weather was generally kind to the event.
