Spondon Community Association (SCA), which runs Spondon Village Hall, would like some more people on their committee.
As Anne Hathaway from the SCA explains: "None of us are going to be around forever, and we need some help taking the load off our existing committee.
"We have a Council (which meets 3 times a year), which is made up of representatives of Spondon organisations, and individual members. From those, an executive committee is elected, which meets monthly, and takes on the general running and organisation of the Community Association and Village Hall.
"We would welcome new committee members, but if you can offer some practical help instead, please let us know."
