Public consultation has now begun on Severn Trent Water's planning application to erect wind turbines at their sewage treatment plant in Spondon.
The proposal is for two turbines of up to 80 metres in height with blades up to 52 metres long each.

A copy of the application, plans and any other documents submitted may also be inspected at Roman House, Friar Gate, Derby during office hours.
