Regional Cycle Route 66 provides a circular loop around Derby and is illustrated on the Derby Cycle Map.
Signing is being improved along the route including through Spondon towards the East Service Road on A5111 Raynesway. New signs will show key destinations and estimated times to cycle to these locations in minutes.
Signing will be provided at junctions or at intervals where route information is deemed necessary. Signs will utilise existing street furniture such as lighting columns wherever appropriate.
Spondon Neighbourhood Board and residents provided comments about the sign locations in the conservation area, along Church Street, Sitwell Street and Lodge Lane.
Look out for the signs, which were installed in during February and March.
