Spondon Councillors report that details are emerging of proposals for a major housing development on land at the rear of Victoria Avenue, Borrowash, in the green belt area of land between there and Spondon.
Borrowash residents are very concerned about the proposal and are waiting with interest for full details to be posted on the Erewash Council Planning web site.
Spondon Councillors will be examining the proposal in detail to consider the effect on the Green Wedge, traffic issues and potential extra pressure on infrastructure services such as schools and doctors in the Spondon area.
