Two new bus routes through Spondon, 9 and 9A, will begin service from 26th March.
The new service, run by the Notts & Derby bus company, will replace the current route run by Littles which connects Derby, Chaddesden, Spondon, Ockbrook and Borrowash via the single route. The service will run throughout the day, Monday to Saturday.
Due to funding cuts at Derby City Council, there had been concern in recent months that the route may have to be cut altogether but funding for the service has now been secured from Derbyshire County Council and the new service will commence on 26th March.
