One of Spondon’s parks benefitted from a community clear up last weekend, with lots of people turning out to help.
The event took place at Willowcroft Park and saw Spondon Councillors and local MP, Pauline Latham, joined by local cubs, scouts and brownies plus a group of local resident volunteers.
Despite the cold weather on the day, the event was a big successful with a number of bags of rubbish collected and removed from the park. A big thanks to everyone who took part.
