Following long term drainage issues in Sitwell Street, which have been reported by the Neighbourhood Board and Spondon Traders Association (STA), a solution has been designed.
This will mean that major road works will commence in the New Year. The plan is to carry out the work over night to limit disruption, however some delays may occur.
The Spondon Councillors, STA and the Board are continuing to work with Derby City Council to complete the scheme, resurface the road between Willowcroft Road and Moor Street and upgrade the Street Lighting.
