A new project collaboration between Spondon's Village Improvement Committee (VIC) and a Spondon-based music business is aiming to put Spondon on the musical map.
The VIC, together with local company Haynes Music Productions, are putting together a CD of Spondon-based singers and songwriters, performing songs about or inspired by Spondon - and they are on the lookout for anyone that fancies joining in!
Any style of music is acceptable, from folk to rap, and all abilities welcome.
Recording sessions will be held in Spondon by Haynes Music Productions over the coming weeks and the finished CDs will be launched in June. The CDs will be on sale throughout Spondon as well as online and the proceeds will go to the Christmas Lights fund.
