Over 70 local volunteers joined Derby Parks staff at Brunswood Park at the end of March to help with a makeover weekend at the recently refurbished park.
Both days were extremely successful with 20 volunteers helping on the Friday and 50 helping on the Saturday.
Jobs completed during the makeover included play equipment painted, benches varnished, vegetation clearance and weeding, tree planting and dog fouling stencilling. In addition, five huge 1100 litre trade bins were filled with waste from the park.
Thank you to all those who helped out - whether you were directly involved during the days or lending out tools, vans and advice, it was all a massive help!
